Coastal Marine Management was founded on a genuine connection to life on the water. For us, boating has never just been a hobby - it’s been a lifestyle. As a young family, weekends spent offshore shaped our appreciation for the freedom, enjoyment and responsibility that comes with vessel ownership. That passion naturally evolved into a professional commitment to supporting other boat owners.

Mitchell’s background began in the marine performance world as an international professional jet ski racer, developing deep mechanical awareness and hands-on technical understanding of vessels. This experience led into vessel brokerage and sales, where he worked closely with owners navigating purchase decisions, upgrades and long-term ownership considerations. Through this, a common challenge became clear: many owners loved their vessels but lacked the time, coordination or technical network to manage ongoing maintenance and improvements.

Tyla identified the missing link between purchasing a vessel and properly maintaining it. Owners were often left juggling multiple contractors, service schedules and compliance requirements without clear oversight. Together, they created Coastal Marine Management to bridge that gap - offering a single, reliable point of contact to coordinate servicing, repairs, upgrades and marine logistics.

Today, Coastal Marine Management supports vessel owners across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and surrounding waterways through trusted internal and specialist marine trades. We oversee each project with attention to quality, communication and accountability, ensuring work is completed to a professional standard while removing the stress from ownership.
